²ÝÁñÉçÇø Summer Sessions stirring up support with cooking workshop fundraiser

²ÝÁñÉçÇø Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is offering a one-night cooking workshop with local chef Jennifer Jolis on Friday, Oct. 17, from 6-9 p.m. at the Hutchison kitchen.

The Fairbanks restaurant, A Moveable Feast (1983-1989), remains in the memories of those who ate there. One thing still stands out in diners' memories is the ever-changing array of fresh, flavorful, tempting salads. Owner and Fairbanks chef extraordinaire, Jennifer Jolis, is prepared to share some of those salad recipes with twelve lucky locals. In addition, she will share a recipe for a dessert that, like her little red Miata, goes everywhere and is always a hit. You'll be doing the cooking, with her guidance and recipes, and then everyone will sit down to enjoy a fabulous meal together.

The workshop cost is $100 and includes all ingredients and supplies. Proceeds will go toward the 2026 Music in the Garden concert series.
